A first time visit to this establishment greeted with a warm welcoming smile from the bar lady. We were shown to a table for four of our choice, our drinks orders were taken menus handed out food ordered, a very good quality and delicious servings were enjoyed by all! See you next time!

My friend and I stayed here overnight and had a wonderful stay. The room was lovely and very spacious. Free bottled water was a nice touch. The bathroom was really nicely tiled with a huge shower. Dinner was lovely and the breakfast is one of the best I’ve had which is saying something! The evening staff were really lovely.

The rooms are excellent, all top class fixtures and fittings, bed very comfortable and it retains the period features without most of the downsides. Restaurant was similarly decorated, great staff. This is not a budget hotel but is good value.
Read MoreWe work locally and usually pop in for a lunch if we get out of the office. As it was Christmas we decided to go to the White Hart for something nicer. We weren’t let down, we enjoyed a beautiful sweet potato salad and great service. Hope to return soon.

Read MoreVisited the restaurant on a quiet Tuesday evening but it soon filled up with diners. The waitress was excellent, attentive with an outgoing and friendly demeanour. She helped us all make a choice from the extensive menu and we were not disappointed. All round excellent food, good value & great service!

Read MoreHad a great nights stay here. Room was lovely and very clean!! There were lots of bathroom accessories supplied and even hair straighteners in the room as well as the usual hair dryer!! The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were really nice too, which is always a big plus as far as I’m concerned.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really lovely which topped off a great stay! Would definitely recommend!
I would recommend this venue to anyone. Not only did we have one of the best stays, the rooms and restaurant and food was of highest quality. My children loved their stay and breakfast and all the staff were so polite, cheery and helpful. We would definitely stay again and have already looked into the events they hold.
