A first time visit to this establishment greeted with a warm welcoming smile from the bar lady. We were shown to a table for four of our choice, our drinks orders were taken menus handed out food ordered, a very good quality and delicious servings were enjoyed by all! See you next time!
Read MoreFirst impressions were a bit off. very busy bar, steep stairs, and no on site parking (although there is parking nearby). The rooms are excellent, all top class fixtures and fittings, bed very comfortable and it retains the period features without most of the downsides. Restaurant was similarly decorated, great staff. This is not a budget hotel but is good value.
Read MoreVisited the restaurant on a quiet Tuesday evening but it soon filled up with diners. The waitress was excellent, attentive with an outgoing and friendly demeanour. She helped us all make a choice from the extensive menu and we were not disappointed. All round excellent food, good value & great service!
