Wrest Park

Just a 10 minute drive from the White Hart is Wrest Park. One of English Heritage’s finest properties, the 18th Century house, built in a French chateau style, sits alongside formal gardens restored to their original 17th Century design. The Dairy Sculpture gallery contains restored statues dating back to the 1600s and the Archaeological Collections Store houses unique and special objects spanning 2,000 years of England's history.

 
 

Bletchley Park

Once the top-secret home of the World War Two Codebreakers, Bletchley Park is now a vibrant heritage attraction. A 15 minute drive from the White Hart, Woburn Abbey is a 16th century Grade I listed country house and landscaped gardens. Sitting in 3000 acres of ‘deer park’ land, a visit to the house is over three floors with classic rooms showcasing the finest furniture, porcelain and silverware. The Duke of Bedford’s private art collection is world renowned.
